Not sure I'd be all that thrilled if you were insulting my work as you do in the opening of the article with another photographer.  The better approach, I believe, would be to simply illustrate, as you do in the bottom part of the article, what your steps and processes are and explain why those are, in your view, preferable.

It's not an insult. It's a scientific observation. Nature does not produce perfectly symmetrical human faces.
