Shot these last week over the Thanksgiving holiday. Sony NEX-7 with the 18-200 zoom and a little foot-tall Joby GorillaPod (which is a great great portable stabilizer for city shooting).

Nice post processing and color gamut in all three.

Your photos are really excellent. They might seem like classical New York but they look very classy.
Congrats!

Love the first 2. Very well done.

Urbanscapes are not my thing but I must say that you have done a fine job on these!

First for me...I love the light just catching the building bottom right....nice shots.

My favourite is #2, so you now have accolades for each. Well done!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. The NEX7 is a weird beast - straight out of the camera, the shots aren't particularly impressive (especially with the 18-200 Sony zoom) but the files themselves have a very adaptable quality to them and take to processing very well IMHO. That, and the sheer flexibility (and portability) of the system allows me to get shots I would otherwise have missed. They give some up to my Canon 5d2 with L glass at bigger enlargements, but the tradeoff is generally worth it unless I'm out on a dedicated photo mission :)
