As I was working thru Epson alternatives ...I found that CDW has listed the Epson 7900 as discontinued 10/19 . For sure someone is jumping the announcement because neither Epson or any dealer would even speculate on the next generation .

Maybe CDW just decided not to offer that model?

The Epson 7900 has been out for about a year and is one of the top of the line printers (HDR colors) on the market at the moment.
CDW is possibly not offering that model, but it is available. We sell that printer with the supplies.

Sorry, but that information is not correct. I took delivery of my 7900 in December, 2008 and it was announced in Oct. 2008 at the photo show in New York at Jacob Javits. So that means the 7900 has been around now for 4 years.
