What a marvelous collection of objects! You've placed things in the frame just so. Well done!

Do you walk by that wall art every day, to see what people have set in front of it today, or was this purely good fortune?

Andrew,

I suspect that they are RSL's own bits and pieces given the vintage bombers adorning the hat and lapel.

Andrew, Walter, No, it's a display outside a shop in Old Colorado City, the oldest part of Colorado Springs. I was walking by about a week ago and the surrealism struck me. I shot at f/5.6 to let the painting on the wall fall a little bit out of focus, so that the detail in the scarf and hat would stand out in contrast.

Ah, interesting! It had the organizational style of a window display, but something about the context made me think it was perhaps an accidently placement of a hat and a couple of other things on top of, perhaps, a piece of luggage on the sidewalk.

It's still a very nice arrangement of things in the frame, and I do like the painting's relationship to the rest of the stuff very much.
