Title: Capture One Pro 6.4.4 and Mac OSX 10.7.5
Post by: Jens_Langen on October 20, 2012, 12:26:40 pm
I recently updated my mac's software to the latest build of Lion using Software Update.
Now I can't tether my Canon 5D MKII or 5D MKIII in Capture One.  I get a window that pops
up with a series of warnings that the camera can't connect.
And of course I only have a Time Machine back up so can't go back to the previous OS.
Anyone else having this problem?

Just replying to my own post....
Apparently C1 6.4.2 will tether reliably with Canon and it is available for download from Phase One's site.

What about with 10.8?

I'm afraid to move to 10.8.  Have you been using it with the Canon 5D MKIII and C1 6.4.4 with success?
At least now I can tether my MKII using C1 6.4.2

I have been using eos utility to trigger the camera and have the C1 capture folder as the destination folder, actually happy to shoot this way as it means a copy is stored on the card in the camera. Be great if capture one allowed this. I'm almost tempted to stick with this method.

I'm going to try this too.  I like eos utility- it seems really solid.
