Title: Border on prints with Epson 4900
Post by: audiodoc on October 15, 2012, 03:58:32 pm
I did a 17x22" roll print today and got an inch border horizontally that it didn't ask for.The vertical printing is to the edge.I did a roll paper print selection with border-less setting using Photoshop CS5 and printer software.I'm trying to maximize edge to edge printing.Any ideas on eliminating these borders with Epson 4900?Do I need to get the sheet paper to maximize print size?I also want to do 17x25".Thanks in advance.

The printer cannot print borderless on top and bottom of sheet paper.  To get full borderless prints requires roll paper.  Normally to get borderless you must either send a slightly larger print if selecting the retain size option, or select the auto expand option in the printer dialog.
