Title: Old folder questions
Post by: RFPhotography on October 07, 2012, 04:41:26 pm: I've found anold Nagel 33 folder. The ground glass is missing and the shutter isn't consistent. The shutter is a Compur. Anyone know where I might get a new ground glass? Anyone know if the shuter alone can be replaced?

10 or 20 shots at each speed.
When you get to the slowest speeds you will more than likely hear it improve with each shot.

a Mass Air Flow cleaner. The kind used for cleaning components of auto emissions system sensors.
I then lubricate them with a high end teflon lubricant like SailKote. Leaves no residue.
Be sure to remove the lens elements first.

No warranty on this method... ;)
