Absolutely love this. Saw a simlar idea recently where someone had shot the Liverpool waterfront in the same way on a rare still day on the river Mersey. Very effective.

There's a bit of a story behind the pic in that the cormorant seemed to be fishing in a stock water tank ???. It also seemed very tame for a wild bird so i wonder if it has been pet at some stage. I took the photo from across the tank with 24-105 lens on a FF
you can see the cormorant on the LHS of the tank in this failure of a photo. It should have been taken from a higher angle IMO.
