Does anyone know if there is a solution like this available?

well. if there is an adapter that allows you to put Eye-Fi SD card inside whatever MF are using (like there are adapters where you can put SD card inside CF card and that adapter itself then into CF slot as a regular CF card)... Eye-Fi does not need any special firmware support from the camera, albeit some cameras do support Eye-Fi specifically (for example the firmware will not shut the camera down while Eye-Fi is transmitting the data).

been there, done that. Too slow to be usable.

certainly shall be slow, my 8Gb Eye Fi is slow w/ 16mp raw files, but then I use it just to be free from cables, not to review shots... new 16Gb Eye-Fi class 10 card seems to be faster though... plus not all MF cameras as 80+mp... may be 40mp and new Eye-Fi card is ok in some cases

what's slow is the CF ->SD transfer ... I've tried a couple of these adaptors, and once you hit your cameras buffer limit things will come to a crawl.
