Can anyone fill me in on what is happening here? How much longer to peak fall color?

We're starting to get some nice reds in NE Ohio. Weird weather this year with the hot dry summer and now very fast to cool and wet. I would say 2-3 weeks from now would be very nice. I live a little north of the CV. I was down shooting the Richie Ledges a few weeks ago, off of route 303 Happy Days area. Don't miss the ledges if you come. Go early and bring the tripod. I was at 1-30 seconds at iso 100 @ f11 early morning overcast day. A wide zoom works well. I have a Tokina 16-28mm on full frame that worked very well.

Thanks for the info. We are already getting good color in SW Ohio probable because of a couple of recent frosts. I think it will be a good season . I will be getting my Sigma SD1 Tuesday with 16-125 zoom so it will get a good workout this fall!
