As a fresh input: I read today that the King here has objected to the NYT for image and story being unrepresentative of the country.

Isn't all 'news' just the same? 90% of us go through life doing little damage or much of anything, really, but, it's the few who do the unthinkable that get the coverage every time. So what's representative of anything else? And yes, I've also seen bin scavengers here, poor bastards. It's so easy to take what we have for granted, but like youth, it's not for ever.

The fact that it is the king who is complaining reminds me of Marie Antoinette's infamous "Let them eat cake."

Makes her sound like the Queen of Tarts.

I've known a few queens who love to tart it up.
