Title: Style
Post by: Rob C on September 24, 2012, 10:21:53 am
Okay, nothing to do with my shooting at all (I hear the approval to that!) but nevertheless, it illustrates a mood that I love, and a style that turns me on more than almost any other than an evening on the perfect beach.

Avril's okay too, but it's not really about her: you could put in any one of your favouirite girls and it would still be beautiful. I'm sorry our old French buddy Fred has flown the coop: this would have given him a smile, I think - so much like the material you can find from one of our mutual heroes, Peter Lindbergh. He might even have shot this, for all I know.

Can you imagine the dread that would run through a make-up artist's head by the words, "That's a keeper, but let's try for take two!"?

It is not that it doesn't have to do with shooting at all Rob, it is just that it has to do with shooting in a manner quite foreign to these climes.
