I like it but to me it doesn’t portray loneliness. The lack of sail on the boat portrays someone who is content to be where they are, or perhaps dealing with the lack of wind. The slight wake shows they don’t desire to move on in a hurry.

It would also be a nice capture if there were no boat.

My thought, exactly!

I prefer the first image although the second is also pleasant. Both are very relaxing.
