Title: Separate Windows in CS6
Post by: Michael H. Cothran on September 07, 2012, 08:42:33 pm
I have clicked off "Application Frame" in CS6 so that my files open in an unattached window, similar to my CS3. However, if I open multiple files in CS6, even with an unattached window, they all still open in that same window, with tabs to toggle back & forth. I'd like each file to open in a separate window, again similar to CS3. Is that possible, and if so, how?

You could try going into Preferences and unchecking the 2 items that cause the files to dock as tabs.

Thanks Walter. That did it. I only had to turn off one - under Interface>Open documents as tabs.

The problem with someone like me is I don't what most of the stuff means when I read it. I appreciate your help.
