Selling my Leaf Aptus II 12 R in Hy6 mount with staggering 80 megapixel image quality :) (Selling due to personal reasons - if I could keep it I would!)
Technical details here: Leaf Aptus-II 12R 80MP digital camera back (http://www.mamiyaleaf.com/products_aptus212r.asp)
I bought it with the Leaf Gold Package, which means there is nearly 2 years of warranty left and one free mount swap. In other words you can either keep my A+ condition back in AFi/Hy6 mount, or get a fresh factory replacement in another mount.
Includes original case, 2 batteries, charger, and manual.
I also have an excellent condition Hy6 camera as an optional extra, and some lenses. Please enquire if you are interested.
Price: €17,000 + shipping
(If you are in a major European city or NY I might be able bring it to you by plane, but that can be discussed later)

By the way Graham, are you VAT EU registered? I am, so if I decided to buy anything (for now only hypothetically) the price of the back would be lower by VAT?
Regards,
Chris

Yes I am VAT registered but that price is ex-VAT as I expect the buyer to be a VAT registered business or outside the EU. Sorry, should have been clearer about that.

With the Gold package this is a good price.
Good luck with your sale, Graham!

Thanks!

I'm planning a trip to NY as well, so I could also bring the back with me to NY if the buyer agrees.

Actually the cool thing about the AFi mount is not just the AFi/Hy6 platform which is awesome, but also that it can be reversibly fit to a Mamiya RZ or LF camera with Leaf's adapters and also to quite a few technical cameras that take the Hy6/AFi mounts. Cambo, Alpa, arTec, to name a few. Kapture group also makes sliding backs with Hy6 adapter plates. This back has the revolving sensor and the articulating screen which make it really useful as you don't have to remove it to change orientation and the screen tilted out is so much easier to see when working with tripods or camera stands.

Price dropped to €17K

Dear Graham, is that correct? The originally offered price was also 17000 euro.

original price was €18K, as far as I remember.

It was listed at $35k or something like that here in the US but that was without the 'gold' warrantee and mount swap package.

Actually, it was 17500 €.

Wish I have the cash, it will go great with my Hy6.
