Title: D800 long shutter lag when using external flash

Hi friends,
I need help.

I experienced a time lag for more than 2 seconds,
beetwen pressing and the actual shutter release, whenever I put external flash (SB 800) or a Pocket Wizard transmitter on camera's hot shoe.

Does anybody have experience this?
Have I not set it properly?

oh my goodness,

thank you so much Kers...
it never occured to me. i have never used that function in my photography journey.
this is a new camera.
new to Nikon too..
