Hello Group
I am a former Toronto based photographer who is now based in Ecuador.
I am thinking of setting up a photo tour business to show off the natural beauty of this country. ( I would show some images but I am still teaching myself how to shot landscapes to the caliber of this group)
In order to send the business in the right direction I have a survey on my site I am looking for people to fill out.

I would appreciate any responses, here or via survey about what you want, and need of a tour company for photography.
Thanks
BTW I asked permission before I posted this request...I don't want to piss people off

Well, I tried: Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL
Not expecting any Swedes, are you? ;)

Hi Jeremy
Took me a minute to figure out what you were joking about....
No problem with Swedes, or British, or Americians and I am a long way from the Capital and politics.
Not sure about the database error, it is working for me ( the database and website are in Vancouver )
Thanks for responding

Just to say to say the site opens fine here in the UK.
good luck.

I am getting some interesting results.
Most of the photographers who have responded are between 55 & 65.
And there are a lot of couch potatoes... they are not interested in hiking any distance.
I am also surprised at how important Hot Water is.

Ecuador is on my list - I have considered it before but security issue had me worried.
I did Peru on my own but Ecuador seemed a bit more difficult.
Going with a group may be the right way to do it.
Keep us informed.

Security is one of the reasons I am thinking about this, but if you have "done" Peru then Ecuador should not be a problem.
Except for the big cities, Ecuador is pretty safe, compared to many parts of the world.
The problem is always when you carry expensive gear... a 500 lens is worth a years salary to a lot of the people.
