Sunset from Green River Overlook.

Wow! Do you sell prints ?
One question - are the mesa edges that light ? The remind me a bit of the hoodoos in Bryce.

Yes, the mesa edges are that light. :)

That's what they call the White Rim. Nice!

I love it to bits! Congratulations for having the courage not to make that too dark.

Very nice, I particularly like the composition here, close detailed foreground leads you into that wonderful scene, the colours the light.....all works very well, good work mate.

It's a very nice place and you got it "right".
Bravo!

Thanks to all for your positive feedback. :)

A lovely fluid composition with nice light. It seems a bit flat, but I think that is a result of my uncalibrated monitor. Very nice work.

Great image, but can I be boring and ask tech details? It all looks so sharp, how did you go about it?
Thanks,
Michael

Seems to simple! I'd have sworn tilt, MF, etc... great work, and again well done on a great image!

Thank you for your kind words.

That looks awesome! Great job.

Beautiful image.

One of the most original compositions I've seen from GRO and one I really like. Well composed, nicely processed - this is a fantastic image!

Thanks Bret. Coming from a Moab guy that means a lot! :)

Sunset from Green River Overlook.
Stunning shot, makes me want to go there immediately and have a go myslef, I love it. You know it takes quite some determination and skill to go to a place so well visited and photographed, yet still come away with an absolute winner - bravo!

Great composition and from an ideal vantage point. Just one niggly - this being sunset and all - the foreground seems to bright and lacking in contrast. In particular the grain/bark of the foreground tree looks washed out. While I realize you might very well be working towards a certain effect, it appears (to me anyway) to be not quite "real" in an image where it appears you are working towards realism. However, at the same time, I appear to be in the minority (or are we, as a forum, shying away from constructive criticism?)
