Title: Brightscreen focusing screens on D800
Post by: alban on August 19, 2012, 01:47:51 pm
I have the number 5 screen of Brightscreen on my D800e and the camera has gone back twice for repair. The first time there was some sort of residue on the screen I could see through the VF and now I focus manually but all I get is a fuzzy not so sharp photograph. Does anyone have had a similar experience with these product and should I give them a 3rd try or just give up and stick to the Nikon's screen?

Thanks for your help in advance

Did the diopter adjustment get moved?

No diopter movements, checked on that. I have compared live view, AF, manual focusing through VF . The nanual is the only one that lacks sharPness. I was told by Brightscreen that it might be a Nikon'a problem. I thought they checked everything before sending out the camera with their screen. I am sort of stuck .
