Can anybody send me a few sample Hasselblad RAW images (in .3rf, .fff format) to support at daminion dot com or share them somewhere?
-
Samples available on the Hasselblad website.
-
Unfortunately all files are available in TIFF format only on the Hasselblad website.
I received a few nice photos in fff format. Now I need a photo in .3FR format.
-
What camera are you interested in? I have few H3D 39II files that I got from some kind people at this forum.
-
Very sorry for the misleading statement. The sample images on the Hasselblad website are tifs! I have sent you a link to a raw image via message.
-
Douglas, thanks for the photo! We'll add support for Hasselblad RAW files (.3fr, .fff) in the next Daminion version.

Happy to help, I have not heard of Daminion before so I will download and check it out. I have sent you a link to one raw file from just one type of back (50Mp), perhaps you should have more examples from other backs. Have you approached anyone at Hasselblad corporate about this? I would urge you to do so!

Thank you Douglas. Daminion is a new network-friendly photo manager (we are also developers of the PicaJet - the standalone photo organizer for amateur photographers).

I hadn't contacted with Hasselblad yet, because I received some photos from users in LL and DPReview forums. It's enough for testing at the moment.
I've also learned that there might be multi-shot .fff files, that I don't have yet.

Yes there are several types of multishot file and images from 16, 22, 31, 39, 40, 50 and 60Mp CCDs, and don't forget the FFF files from scanners that have a slightly different format. Most will be formatted in the same way but the factory would be able to give you the whole story. I like the layout of Daminion very much and it does some things way better than some of the other softwares out there, may I make a request? Please extend your 'Camera Model' filter to subdivide into serial number of camera. Lightroom has this feature but it does not seem to be reliable. Hugely useful for big studios and hire companies (and me) to be able to trace batches of images to an exact camera, not just a model of camera.
I have signed up to the blog.

Douglas, I appreciate your feedback and suggestions. The idea with Camera Model is nice. We can split the Camera tag into 3 levels: Vendor | Model | Instance.
We'll received several Hasselblad RAW images and hope to include support for .fff and .3fr image into the next Daminion version.

Hi,
Does anyone have some sample 3rf files from an HD39 they could mail to me?
Thanks.
