Title: Folex Backlit and ICC profile for z3200ps
Post by: chichornio on August 09, 2012, 07:47:27 pm
I´m printing on backlit film for the very first time. I´m using Folex dye and pigment compatible backlit, but the output is not good (bad definition, very wet printed image). I´m using HP Premium Vivid Color Backlit Film as a paper preset and ICC profile. Anything wrong with my settings? Any help will be very welcome.

That should be an indication that the Folex pigment ink compatibility is not optimal. That said, a good saturation on backlit film usually asks for longer drying times.

Thanks! After 3 hours, the print dried completely (yesterday I have 95% of humidity in my city). The image looks great (even printing at normal quality), I just have to adjust the curves of the file because it`s a little dark.
