Post by: mediumcool on July 31, 2012, 11:02:55 pm
Unixers, see here (http://apple.blogoverflow.com/2012/07/interesting-new-unix-commandsbinaries-in-os-x-mountain-lion/) for your delectation. New commands (my favourite is *caffeinate*!) including process utilities *pgrep* and *pkill* — wonder if any of these will migrate back to *nix?

Pgrep and pkill were introduced in Sun (now Oracle) Solaris, and are available in some other UNIX variants and Linux distributions.
