Thanks, those are gorgeous!

The slit scan effects in "2001" can't even hold up a candle to those.  And to think those are real photographs!  Have generally felt a little disappointed that the future did not turn out quite as exciting as I had hoped for during the 50's and the Moon shots, but those images somehow make up for that a little.
