Ordered some LD replacement cartridges for my Epson 9600 and the Light Magenta and Light Cyan both broke the contacts in the bay.
Has anyone else had this problem? Can't get their supervisors on phone, just tech's. Printer won't recognize any cartridges now.
I'm open to any advice, aside from the don't use off brand cartridges. I've learned my lesson.

I think you've answered your own question. Sorry for your problems.

We've seen this a few times and it always has happened with the use of 3rd party cartridges (what a coincidence). Compass Micro (compassmicro.com) has the contacts - their part number for a Stylus Pro 7600 is GEN9501. In my opinion, it is a tricky repair to get them in without causing more damage - but if the printer isn't working, it won't work any less well after you attempt the repair, and you have the potential of fixing it without spending a ton of money.

Did you get a solution to your broken contacts? what did you end up doing to make it work again?
Thank you

Never repaired. LD products sent me a check for $500. Bot a Canon 8300.

Is that the company You bought the cheap in from? Do you still have it? Would you want to sell for parts?
Where are you located?
