Hi All,
I frequently encounter forced shutdowns of Photoshop CG6 extended running under Windows 7 Professional with Service Pack 1 installed. The hardware is an i7-2600K CPU on an ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution mobo with 32GB of Crucial main memory. These shutdowns seem to be closely related to closing files. I have tracked the application log and find that the trouble is somehow related to a faulting dll module, e.g., Event Viewer reports:
Faulting module name: nvoglv64.DLL, version: 8.17.12.8562.
I'd appreciate hearing about shared experiences, methods to diagnose the problem in further detail, and of course suggested solutions.
Cheers,
P.

That's a video driver file. Make sure you are running the latest version from nvidia.com

Thanks for that advice kaelaria. I've installed the latest nvidia driver(301.42) and will put the system on test.
