I guess if I like another recent contribution's use of large areas of black, there's no reason not to like the white sky in this one. It does a good job of conveying the potential loneliness of the figure.

Indeed. The power of her vision captures our attention in a way that discourages us viewers from looking only at technical details, a habit too many of us on LuLa seem to have.
