Michael's quote on the home page reminded me of the extraordinary contribution of Hungarians to photography, including by people I didn't actually realise were Hungarians, such as Capa and Brassai. I think that the best way to improve my photography is maybe not to buy that next gadget, but to move to Budapest and take out citizenship :-)

Perhaps of interest - Eyewitness: Hungarian Photography in the Twentieth Century. Brassaï, Capa, Kertész, Moholy-Nagy, Munkácsi (http://books.google.com/books?id=P9rKcQAACAAJ)

And not to forget, it's also much more affordable to be a photographer in Budapest.
