Title: Hand Strap for D800E?
Post by: spotmeter on June 18, 2012, 10:49:19 pm
I am moving from Canon to the Nikon D800E and would like to use a hand strap instead of a neck strap.

Any recommendations?

I've consistently used the Nikon AH-4 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/37060-REG/Nikon_649_AH_4_Hand_Grip_Strap.html) hand/wrist strap for over a decade now on all of my cameras, currently Canon.  It's leather, lasts forever, and locks around your wrist and hand together.. so you can hang the camera by your side and let go to relax/rest your fingers/hand and it won't go anywhere.  They're pricey, but well worth it.  A quality piece of kit.
