Title: Silver Efex 2 Question

How do I get rid of this yellow and blue coloration in the main window of Silver Efex 2? (see attached screenshot) It looks like crap, and I cannot judge images at all with it turned on.

I cannot find a way to turn it off in the manual or any of the options on screen.  Almost looks like the highlight/shadow options in photoshop (blue/red) but the blue and yellow don't quite reach the 100% black or 100% white levels.  I only just installed the software a week or two ago, this seems to be a default setting. 

Opened image from Lightroom 4 if that helps, and when image is saved in Silver Efex 2, none of this blue/yellow is present in the saved image when viewed from Lightroom afterward.

Very strange. I use Efex 2 all the time and I've never seen that. I would recommend you call them. I have talked with them in the past on other issues and found them to be both very prompt and helpful.

Added:
 I just checked the histogram in Efex 2 on your image and see a huge spike on the right side. I'd bet that what you're seeing is some kind of out of gamut or blown highlight warning.

Maybe you've clicked one or two of the squares in the "zone system" under the histogram? Click them again to remove the colour.

I'll try getting in touch with their technical support.  The blues roughly correlate with Zone 2, the yellows with Zone 8, and none are clicked.  And the spike in the histogram was intentional - I grabbed a photo at random to illustrate the effect and as there was not enough yellow I played with the curve to artificially brighten it up.

But if anyone else has any ideas about this in the meantime, fire away.

Nik got back to me with the solution:

Thank you for contacting Nik Software. 

    Inside Silver Efex Pro 2, click on the"Settings" button in the lower left.
    In Settings locate the section "GPU" and expand it, in this section you will see a check box "Enable GPU Processing", uncheck this so the GPU will be disabled, then close the settings window.
    Close out of Silver Efex Pro 2 (click Cancel), quit out of any and all host applications (Photoshop,Lightroom, Aperture), and then relaunch Silver Efex Pro 2 to see if this corrects this issue.

Problem solved and within 1 business day no less.
