I know this isnt evryones taste, but i love old industrial shots, of which we have a lot in the UK. The third one is an HDR which i never do but unfortunatly the old train always sits in poor light. The others are just mono conversions. The triple header is sooooo rare it just never happens.

Actually these are all wonderful images.
You do have an eye for a shot.

Gee, I wouldn't be apologising for images like this.

Splendid stuff, Cat. O. Winston Link certainly would give you a "bravo!" for these. I love old industrial shots too. These are very good ones.

But what is the source of fog or dust in #1? Just curious.

I really love the grittiness of these images and the way you have processed them gives them such strength. They really come alive.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. The pirst one is of the worlds oldest railway in northern England, Tanfield. They have a very old working forge in the far corner behind the trains. It was working when i was there but unfortunatley, the chimney was blocked by nesting crows so the smoke came out the forge and filled the building. The building is the worlds oldest engine shed, all original. All the work on the engines is done "in house". Its like stepping back in time. The HDR train is one from Tamania. But as with all the trains on this railway, they must be either built or worked in north east England.

Awesome work! If you haven’t done so already, you might want to consider showing to local gallery owners. I predict the works would sell pretty well.

And definitely, capture more to add to this series!!!
