Title: Can't open D800E files in CS6 :-(

I just upgraded fom CS5 to CS6, and now I can't open my D800E files :-(  I opened them before via Lightroom, at least, into CS5, but now I just get a box that says Photoshop can't open this file.

I can open the files in LR4, and in CS5 (opens in ACR 6.7)

Can anyone suggest what's wrong?

You need to download and install the new ACR 7.1 RC. It's been out for a week or so.

Just ran a bunch of files this morning from the D800 through PS CS6 and ACR 7.1 and they are super!

Thanks, that works  :)

Bit puzzled why I could open them in CS5/ACR6.7 but not CS6/ACR7.0 though ...  ???

Not so puzzling when you consider that ACR 6.7 is a later build than ACR 7.0!  ACR 7.1 caught up with ACR 6.7 regarding supported cameras. Look at the release dates of the builds.
