Looks like a promising scene, but the post processing seems harsh, i.e., too contrasty, with blown highlights.

You should have tried either being closer or dropping to the ground and getting more branches against the clouds whilst not worrying too much about the darker clouds higher up, meaning that the clouds around the tree would all be properly exposed rather than over exposed.  For a vertical like this, the tree is too small.

A nice effort, but I agree with the above.  If the tree is your 'focus', even in silhouette it needs more separation from the background and it needs to be more dominant.  As it is you have two images stuck together.

Well, I like the colors, and have no issues with the exposure. But the first think that came to my mind was that perhaps the three is too low on the horizon; I would have liked to see the trunk, not have it buried. Just my two cents.

I agree with Edu. Interesting treatment but I would much prefer to see a separation between the bottom branches of the tree and the horizon.

I completely agree with the comments regarding the tree. I believe I tried. I couldn't remember exactly. It was long time ago.
If I used reverse GND or cameras with greater dynamic range such as as Nikon D800 or IQ180, the DR would be much better.
Although the picture is not perfect, I love the sky and have never seen the sky like this again.

Too much sky, too little tree, over processed.  Love the concept though.
