Hi Folks:
This Saturday night (May 5) is going to be the 'biggest' and brightest full moon of the year, as the moon will be in the closest point of its orbit (perigee). More can be found here: http://news.discovery...
Also, there will be an annular solar eclipse on May 20, peaking at 4:54 p.m Pacific time.
Later this summer there will also be a transit of Venus, as the planet passes in front of the sun.
