I can send an image from LR to CS5, do some edits and then bring back mage into LR.
How do I do the reverse with bridge.
I have a layered image in CS5 and want to send to Bridge to use the Camera raw sliders and brush tools, and the bring the image layer back into CS5.
How can I do this

One way requires you to flatten the file, save it, go to Bridge and "Open in Camera Raw". Camera Raw can not handle a layered file.
But Russell Brown invented a new way. Go to his scripts page here: http://russellbrown.com/scripts.html
and look for "Edit Layers in ACR..."

You can open an image from ACR as a smart object into PS but once you've put layers on it you can only send the smart object layer back to ACR for editing as far as I understand.

You can't...Camera Raw can only open flattened JPEG & TIFF files. If you save off one of those layers as a flattened TIFF you could then open in ACR, adjust and then re-instert that file as a layer back in the layered file but that seems like a lot of work for little gain.

Thanks for the link above--the script works perfectly--hope it will work in CS6 when released.
