Title: Wichita Mountains NWR
Post by: rgs on April 09, 2012, 08:46:09 pm
Post Oak Lake on the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge in SW Oklahoma. This is a magnificent place. If your ever in the area, you should visit. Enjoy. Comments welcome.

You're right. It serves as the desktop on my 24" Dell where it absolutely sparkles. The one here doesn't have the same effect.

I like that a lot, as already mentioned, I'll bet it's a stunner at full size. It looks a beautiful, serene place, and beautifully captured - pin sharp and full of textures.  When I take landscape photos, I do it with the thought that if the photo makes the viewer want to be in that place, then I've achieved my goal.  That photo most definitely makes me want to be right there right now. Nice shot, welll done

Just a small criticism, maybe it's an illusion but could it do with a wee straighten?
