Strandhill, Ireland, late evening.

An excellent portrayal of the use of the modern camera. An amusing shot that captures life as it is. Well done.! I like it.

Rewarding collection of puns and contradictions.

Long time no see, Seamus, welcome back. Fabulous shot. One of the best street shots I've seen in ages. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

This one gave me quite a laugh.
Thanks for that Seamus!

Great!

Clever and full of metaphores, a very interesting and well timed shot - nice work.

Thanks lads, much appreciated. Good to be back, Russ.
For the technically minded, the shot was taken with a friend's Fuji X100 - remarkable camera with extraordinary on-board flash capabilities for such a tiny unit and very high ISO performance as documented all over the place, but a son of a bitch at times handling-wise. On the strength of it, however, I've just taken the plunge and bought the new Fuji X Pro1 and its three lenses. Let's see how 'streetwise' it really is. I'll keep you posted - strictly street images for critique, nothing technical or more appropriate for cameras and equipment thread. unless asked, of course.
Regards to all,
Seamus

A decisive moment, to be sure.
