Title: Prairie spring

The grain bin on the left has been distorted by the wind, not my lens.
No bins have been deleted, added or moved to improve the composition. :)

But we're worried that it's the sky of your choice, photographed elsewhere :-)

Interesting branching highlights moving across the sky; and the harrowed ground breaks up the stubble monotony and hints at a Japanese rock garden, the bins now small stones against the depth to the horizon.

This looks like a painting.  The building fading into the background helps convey ythe depth and the vastness to the right.  The composition is very effective.

Thanks, Isaac and Rambler. Lots of challenge to find subjects out here on the prairies. The sky started to break and I rushed to find something, anything to put in front of it.

We could use some castles, seashores or icebergs.

I can understand that being kept away from easy clichés will sometimes feel like too much of a blessing, but as long as you can find subjects that provoke your interest I think you have the opportunity to make interesting photos.
