Title: Issues with prolonged use of Adjustment brush on Computer

I have a Mac 10.7.3 and Lightroom 3  memory 8GB

I have newly found the wonders of Lighroom 's Adjustment brush and graduated filter.  However after prolonged used of the adjustment brush my Macs wireless keyboard stops working even though the battery is 100%  . 

Can anybody assist me with rectifying the problem?
