Hi,
to learn something I downloaded and installed REDCINE-X PROFESSIONAL (Beta Version) V 11.0.0 for OSX on my MacBookPro (2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 3GB 10.5.8). If I start the program it crashes insantly. What I couldn't find were the system requirements for this software.
Is my system not up to the software? Or should the software at least start up? I attached the crash report below.
Thank you,
Best,
Johannes

I had a similar issue on Windows, could solve it.
Maybe it has the same solution, who knows.
It was comented on Redusers.

Weirdness. Runs fine on my 2010 17" MBP as well as my current generation tower. Never crashes or hangs.

Try Beta 12. It just came out. Supposedly it fixed an issue where REDCINE-X PRO would crash OSX 10.5.X.

Same here.
Been running it on three separate towers, 1 I-mac, two thunderbold powerbooks. No problems.
All running snow leopard.
IMO

P.S. Makes sure your system is clean and you have tons of drive space, lots of Ram and update your system with the latest Java.
On our mac towers, for grading I routinely run Cinex pro, FCP7 and Apple Color all at once and can do it for about 8 hours until I get that bogged down feeling like's it's gonna crash.
Make sure all your scratch disks in FCP and Apple Color are set to open disks with a lot of room if you go this route.
