Title: Where the American Southwest begins
Post by: rgs on March 11, 2012, 05:54:48 pm
Here are some shots from SW Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. Enjoy. These are all scans from 6x7 chromes shot with my Pentax 67. Comments welcome.

1. Palo Duro Canyon near Amarillo, TX

2. Glass Mountains in NW Oklahoma. Pronounced "Gloss". There are two explanations for this peculiarity, neither of the really plausible. But it's definitely an Old West landscape.

3. Post Oak Falls in the Charon's Gardens wilderness are of the Wichita Mountains NWR in SW Oklahoma.
