I like the second one very much. I think it would be improved by some perspective correction, so the door doesn't look as if it's leaning, and by lightening the upper right corner, where the shadow looks like a vignette.

Interesting "still life" images, both of them. Further to kikashi's comment, the first image would also be improved by correcting distortion - in this case though, it is apparent lens barrel distortion that could be corrected.

I like the colour palette of these images - muted - yet contrast seems high. Perhaps reducing contrast would allow the muted colours to "sit" better within the contrast range of the photographs.
