Hi!
At the end of march I will be travelling to Big Sur, CA for 3 or 4 days prior to attend a workshop in Carmel Valley
I was there a couple of times but always in the run. I need some advice about places to go with my camera. I shoot with an Fujifilm GF670 and may be a digital this time

I grew up there.
What are you interested in shooting? The entire 100 miles or so stretch of coast (not to mention inland Los Padres Wilderness) offers a HUGE variety of subjects, conditions and, most importantly, accessibility. Unless you're shooting really long, you've still got to get to what/where you want to shoot.
That, and the entire coast is rife with backroads, beaches known only to locals or surfers, etc... Will you have a 4wd, do you mind hiking, and so on.

Point Lobos State Reserve (just a little north of Big Sur) is my favorite place in that area to find plenty of interesting things to photograph (crashing surf, seaside rocks, bluffs over the ocean, etc.). A web search will turn up info on it.

Hey Alejandro,
The Big Sur coast has countless wonderful places to photograph. A few of my favorites are McWay Falls, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, Julia Pfeiffer Burns Beach, Garrapata Beach, Garrapata State Park, The Carmel Mission has lovely flower displays in the Spring, Point Lobos State Park, Carmel-by-the-Sea is a wonderful little town with a number of galleries.
If you get to the other side of the bay check out Santa Cruz and Davenport (just a few miles up the road from Monterey). Shark Fin Cove, Panther Beach and a number of other lesser known spots are in Davenport while Santa Cruz has Natural Bridges State Park.
