Title: Tropical Screech Owl (Ecuador)
Post by: Glenn Bartley on February 09, 2012, 09:37:22 pm
It took me 8 nights trying to get a shot of this guy before I finally got this one. Eventually I figures out where he liked to hunt from and he posed nicely for me :)

Stunning creature, stunning photograph - well caught. I really wish Ii had the patience for wildlife photography but alas, I don't  :)

Mr. Bartley's photos are now the gold standard by which I judge all bird pictures.  In addition to his obvious photography skills and talent, I am awed by his ability to track his subjects down.   An abundance of wildlife skill as well.

Kudos,
Dale V.
