Just downloaded the trial. Played with it four exactly 1001 seconds according to the crash log  ???
Maybe my project was too large? 1min 40 sec, 4 cuts, 3 transitions.

http://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/335/25443  describes a multicam edit involving 13 sources

I just tried this with external audio, 5d2 and roving G9 content, totally mismatched video source formats -  FCPX resolved it perfectly; I'm totally impressed.
