What can I say. I'm waiting for the paint to dry in my bathroom, saw this on my floor and thought..."Huh?"

Jeez, Robert; can't anybody in your household afford shoes?

I remember my own adventure in that style very well; it's epitomised by the memory of the sight of a pair (matching) of them sitting on the outside of our closed bedroom window in a small logis in rural France. Well, I suppose I was driving a lot...

Sociology comment on the overcrowding of cities?  Simply a set of shoes?  Hmmm...  :)

Hey, It's photography or shoes? You make your call and I make mine for the family.

That's a difficult call; I often wonder if I made the right one by them. For myself, yes; for the others... not so clear. At least they didn't follow!

This composition works for me. The repetition of form, the lighting and tonality. It all comes together well.
