Title: Aperture slightly rotated previews and thumbnails
Post by: vostrushka on January 15, 2012, 08:57:43 am
I recently noticed strange flaw. Some of my images (masters (NEFs) and versions) have slightly rotated previews and thumbnails (see the attached files). The rotation (I found right and left rotated images) made in such a way that I can see either black background on the place where the image should be or some sort of random rainbow of colored square spots.
The export of such image comes good, so it looks like it is some sort of an error in config files that can not read position of the image properly.
The rebuild of thumbnails and previews did not help.
Has anybody witnessed anything like this before? Can it be cured?
Best regards
Leonid

I think I found what was wrong.
All those images having Straitening function applied and Aperture did not bother rebuilding those images.
Switching it on and off rebuilds the preview and thumbnail in a right way.
At least I have a cure for this.
Best regards
