True, Red has provided a sad demonstration of that.
At the same time, they have somehow enabled us to realize that we sometimes underestimate the amazing work our Japanese suppliers do in terms of product planning and execution.
It all really depends on whether you need products for an actual purpose or not. I wouldn't bet much on the products of this new company if you have a real project that depends on its actual availability and performance.

It's been around for a couple of years...too many drawbacks. But who knows, it might be the top camera company in the world before our careers are up.
