Title: shooting video with Sony NEX-7 and the Sony STL-A77
Post by: pmelaragno on December 15, 2011, 02:30:30 pm
I think I understand (from various reviews) that when using the A77 in dedicated video mode you can manually control exposer but you cannot use the camera's autofocus; that the autofocus will in fact work when shooting video in one the camera's still modes (non-dedicated video), but then manual exposure control is limited.  Is this true of the NEX-7?

Also, relative to these two cameras, I believe the the A77 will not allow video above ISO 1600.  Is this true of the NEX-7?

Both cameras do have audio input jacks.  The A77 does not allow manual volume control.  Is the same true of NEX-7?
