I have some images there (only the free account so far).  Overall I think the image quality is superior to Flickr for example, but there are some things about the site I don't like as well.

Hi,

I like your humble contribution. On the other hand I don't like tiny web sized images. My ideal is more like having thumbnails, preview and full screen.

I use to travel trough the Dolomites for a week myself. I really appreciate your images. Great work!

Best regards
Erik

I agree that 500px is better than Flickr, I would say a lot. I stopped using Flickr as I couldn't stand it.

Would you share your 500px portfolio with us?

I have a page on there too.  I haven't posted to it in a while, I think I need to change that.

I started a 500 px account not long ago and have posted a few photos.  I think the quality of images posted there is significantly higher than what is found on flickr (on average) and I've made some great connections already.  Certainly inspirational looking at all those fantastic photos.

I haven't uploaded in full resolution and don't see a way to reload already loaded pictures in higher resolution which would be needed for print in 24x36"!!
Before the market was launched there was no reason to upload in higher resolution than 900pixels wide.
But since the market was launched I have got a number of messages about somebody who wanted to buy, but at $2.99 for a download why should I bother? :) The message did not say if it was a print or a download.

Hence my pension blues!

If I had some musical ability I'd write a song to fit that title and make lose another fortune watching it go for free or, worse, an insulting, token, derisory laugh (at my expense).
