Hey all,
I am new to this forum and must say there is some great info and great pics to spend hours looking at. So I thought I should add one of mine from Australia. I shot this one yesterday at a place called Cabarita beach which is about 30 mins from my house.

Very well done, the water part is great, long exposure is so unpredictable and the affect can be great.
The sky part is lacking something, do not get me wrong great, shot but there must have been a way to include something extra, an element that would add dynamics to the sky part of the image.

Wonderful drama in this image; excellent composition and you've made good use of the ambient conditions.
While the sky does seem a bit lacking in sparkle, it doesn't pull the eye away from the water except towards the golden glow in the top left. Perhaps slightly more contrast in the sky would give the clouds more three-dimensionality. It also seems ever so slightly green - but don't lose the green in the water. Perhaps an adjustment brush to the sky down to the horizon.
But I'm "nitpicking" here the photo and location are fabulous. I hope you are able to get there often.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I also agree that the sky could be better so I posted another shot from the day with more contrast in the sky.

Very nice, Matt. The spot of gold in the bottom right is a bonus.

Much better whites - punchier.
Much better composition - my eye travels around the scene now.
For me, the sky is now too dramatic.
Than being said, both images are wonderful and destined for someone's wall.
